Brayden Curtis is a student at the University of Northwestern (UNW) St. Paul with 13 years of piano experience.  He is majoring in Music with a minor in Communications. During his freshman year of college, he was appointed as the Bass-Baritone Section leader in the UNW Choir. While Brayden has many different aspirations and goals he has a passion for music and seeks to share that passion with others. He strives to make an impact in the UNW Choir and inspire other students around him to connect with the music and excel above and beyond in their daily practices. Brayden seeks to find the spark for music in every student and help them develop their musical understanding. Brayden’s mission is to help students grow to love playing the piano while improving their skills and knowledge.

Brayden was awarded Second Place for vocals in the Wisconsin Music Teacher’s Association State tournament. He played many lead roles in 16 different musicals. Some of his highlights were playing Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie and Max Detweiler in The Sound of Music.  He is currently one of the worship team leaders at Hope Community Church as a singer and pianist. He has performed songs in different languages as a part of the UNW Music curriculum. Brayden toured in London with the UNW choir where he had the pleasure of performing in Westminster Abbey. As an extension of the tour, he enjoyed a round of golf in Edinburgh, Scotland, the birthplace of golf.  Brayden says, “Golfing in Scotland was jolly good fun”.  Brayden looks forward to working with his new students.
